گونه Astragalus gamishluensis از ایران به عنوان گونه جدید شرح داده می‌شود. این گونه با توجه به کرک‌های دو شاخه‌ای، شکل رویشی درختچه‌ای و تعداد جفت برگچه‌ها در بخشه Sect. Ammodendron قرار گرفته و شبیه گونه‌های A. podoloboides Maassoumi،A. erwinii-gaubae Širj. & Rech. f. و A. podolobus Boiss. & Hohen. است، اما با آنها در رنگ جام، کرک‌های برگچه، طول پایک وکرک‌های آن و همچنین کرک‌های نیام تفاوت دارد.
یک بررسی تاکرونومیک انتقادی بر روی جنس Oxytropis فراهم شد. در این اثر تعداد حقیقی گونه‌های جنس بعد از چاپ فلورا ایرانیکا از 42 گونه و بررسی‌های بعد از آن از 33 به حدد 39 گونه می‌رسد. در این اثر 16 گونه به‌صورت مترادف تقلیل یافته است، بخشی از مترادف‌های جدید متعلق به جنس‌های Astragalus می‌باشد. از آن جمله: Astragalus ciceropsis Hamzehee & Maassoumi (= Oxytropis strausii Bornm.), A. podocarpus C....
